Jay-Z is on to the next one. After stopping overseas , Jay returned home to perform “Empire State of Mind” at the Yankees World Series victory parade in NYC on Friday (Nov. 6). He hopped on a plane straight from Berlin last night to make it in time to kick it with Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter , and all the other players: [image] [image] Fun times. Mayor Bloomberg said it I didn’t. I still can’t believe Jay has Bloomberg introducing him, saying this is the Yankee’s new anthem and Jay is performing this joint at the World Series game, co-signed and televised! I love Jay-Z, he’s the best. Of course that’s not all the song is about but ehhh the whole first verse.
